Set up a local group
You can also check out our most frequently asked questions.
To get your group started, decide what you're going to work on and find people to work with. For advice on this – and your first 3 meetings – check out our 'how to start a local group' guide .
Once you've had a few successful meetings and your group is up and running, get in touch either by emailing [email protected], or calling our hotline on 020 7490 0210.
We'll catch up, answer any of your questions and figure out what support you might need going forward.
We will get you licensed by filling out all the necessary paperwork. To formalise the relationship, we will need you to:
- agree to the terms set out in the Partnership Agreement and Trade Mark Licence Agreement
- complete a local group contact-details form
- familiarise yourself with the guidance in our key documents and key policies
What happens next?
Once we've received all the completed documentation from you, we'll email you your Partnership Agreement Certificate.
You'll then be all set to start officially campaigning in the name of Friends of the Earth.
As a Friends of the Earth local group, you will be able to apply for grants of up to £1,500 to help your campaigning.
