From floods in Manchester to cyclones in Mozambique, the climate and nature crisis is already devastating communities in the UK and abroad. But the solutions to this crisis are clear and achievable, and they lie in our local communities.
The Mayor of Greater Manchester has the power to improve the lives and livelihoods of communities across the region and help tackle this global emergency.
They can help deliver new jobs and move away from a fossil fuel-dependent economy. They can also improve public transport, improve public transport and create more green space, introduce measures to reduce fuel poverty and make sure all houses in the area are properly insulated.

Our grassroots network is hard at work making sure climate is prioritised in all the elections happening across England and Wales in May.
As well as hosting online hustings and engaging with local communities, they're also lobbying mayoral candidates to pledge to adopt the Climate Action Plan for Greater Manchester.
